Play by Play: This book is kinda cute. I know it was read to me when I was six, but I barely remembered it. Now I know why I chose not to. The sentances are broken up, and take up several pages. The illustrations are amazing, but to understand the meaning of the sentance you have to turn the pages quickly, but if you do that you can't examine the pictures. It's okay, but I still don't quite get what the big deal is. Maybe I've always over analyzed things. LOL! I love Maurice Sendak, but this isn't my favorite....
